I’ve got the fear that I’ll fail again and again and again
I ask myself will it ever be good enough for them
The love we find hits another wall
The pain we felt, yeah, is there a purpose at all
You say you want what’s best for me
But that’s not at all what it seems
Another day got me feeling off
Another face I know I’ll never trust - I’ll never trust cause
I’ve got the fear that I’ll fail again and again and again
I ask myself will it ever be good enough for them
But I’ll find purpose in the circles that’s surrounding me
And I found promise in these words, everything I’ll ever need
When Hope is dead then so am I, so I’ll keep dreaming of a better life
A better life for me
A life that I decide, a better life, compassion and unity
A better life for you and me, with everything I ever need
A better life for you and me, one time for unity

This album is electric. From the first track it's nonstop chaos and fun, and was a great way to start my journey into thrash metal and hardcore. spencer_mjeh

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
New York hardcore meets classic thrash metal meets Jane's Addiction-esque alternative on the Brooklyn crushers' sensational debut. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 13, 2023
On their debut record, the London hardcore upstarts cross-up mosh-ready fare with melancholic ambient passages, weeping guitars, and virtuosic vocal harmonies, but its romantic veneer is much more complicated than it seems. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jan 30, 2019
