How do I find reason, when so much around me makes no sense
Always find the excuses to hide, cause I never learned how to love myself
So many days spent lost, like so many of us
God knows I’ve been afraid, maybe you like me this way
TRAPPED IN A WORLD SET TO DESTROY
OUR BROKEN YOUTH, NO WE CAN’T AVOID
CAUSE ALL I SEE IS THE DAMAGE IN ME
The damage in you and me
No they just don’t see what the fuck ever happens to us
The things that we risk, it’s never enough
Put it all on the line and you should know that, but you weren’t there
You were never fucking there
Can’t find myself, no matter how hard I try
It’s never right, It’s never right in my mind
Can’t find myself no matter how hard I try
It’s never right, no It’s never fucking right
Now what can you say to make me feel safe
Because most times it just seems like you don’t understand
How can you ever understand?
Can’t find myself, no matter how hard I try
I’m never right, it’s never right in my mind
Can’t find myself, no matter how hard I try
It’s never right, no it’s never right
Take and take and take until there’s nothing left
But That was your mistake
I’m gonna break and break and break until the last breath
And now you pass the blame
I am wide awake and I can finally see, you can’t have me
Take and take and take but now I’m taking back
it just seems like you don’t understand
How could you ever understand?

This album is electric. From the first track it's nonstop chaos and fun, and was a great way to start my journey into thrash metal and hardcore. spencer_mjeh
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
New York hardcore meets classic thrash metal meets Jane's Addiction-esque alternative on the Brooklyn crushers' sensational debut. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 13, 2023
On their debut record, the London hardcore upstarts cross-up mosh-ready fare with melancholic ambient passages, weeping guitars, and virtuosic vocal harmonies, but its romantic veneer is much more complicated than it seems. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jan 30, 2019
